Hotel Walter Au Lac, Lugano

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. My room offered a magnificent lakeside view from the balcony, although it could have been a little bigger. The breakfast was served with dirty dishes from the previous occupant, but overall, the room was clean and well-serviced. The service was amazing, making me feel like I was with my own caring family. The location was perfect, right by the lake and very close to the center, offering great views and easy access to all activities. The dining experience was delicious, with a room overlooking the lake and mountains, although I found it petty that boiled eggs were charged extra.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The location is superb, right in the heart of town with easy access to all the cafes and restaurants, and amazing transit links to key attractions. The rooms, though not completely modern, were clean, spacious, and had a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. However, the breakfast was only average. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable stay in a prime location.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The rooms were quiet and had a nice balcony with a table and chairs to admire the beautiful view of Lake Lugano. The location was perfect, right within the main upscale shopping area with museums, restaurants, and other attractions nearby. However, the noise from the busy road outside could be a bit bothersome. The service was extremely accommodating, but I wish they had more knowledge about the Swiss pass. The dining experience was good overall, with an awesome view, but the breakfast choices were a bit limited.
